The Amazing Cranberry Bog at Union Station

Yes, you read that correctly. There was a real cranberry bog built right in front of Union Station. The folks at Ocean Spray built a 1,200 square foot bog and added 2,000 pounds of cranberries. It was open to the public before the event and cranberry farmers were there to answer any questions on the vitamin C packed fruit. Last year a bog was built outside of Rockefeller Center in New York and we’re so glad they made their way to D.C. Here’s a photo of a Design Cuisine server making her way through the bog. Cranberry hors d’oeuvres were served alongside refreshing cranberry Cosmos.
