Wine, Whiskey and Smoked Eats
To the whiskey bent and party bound, here are some photos from a recent event where we hosted stations of whiskey and wine pairings. From austere to bold, we had something for every palate. Each delicious whiskey was paired with an hors d’oeuvre. Red wines were paired with gourmet meats including Spanish Chorizo, Jambon Bayonne, Proscuitto di Parma, Carpaccio alpa Chimichurri, Merguez and Steak Tartare. White wines were paired with cheeses including Willamette Valley Brindisi, Brie, Taleggio, Manchego, Cabrales Blue Cheese, Boursin and Mimolette. It’s a great way to let guests relish new flavors of both fare and libation.
