Folger Shakespeare Library Gala

The Folger Shakespeare Library celebrated the 450th birthday of William Shakespeare with a gala. Setting the stage was beautiful elevated florals, gold flatware and custom green linens. The menu was just as dramatic as the playwright himself. The first course was a Spring Four Pea Soup served over a black and a gold base plate. The entrée was Rack of Lamb seasoned, sauté and topped with lamb jus served with mushroom barley risotto and asparagus bundles tied with a carrot ribbon. The spotlight was on the plated dessert, a Passion Fruit Bavarian with raspberry salsa and chocolate tuile with micro mint. Here are a few photos by ImageLInk Moving Pictures. Enjoy!
