In American Fashion ~ Apple Pie at Mount Vernon

Most would agree that spring time is the best time to be in DC and this week was no exception. There was absolutely gorgeous weather for this event at Mount Vernon. Our custom built farm tables were paired with French vintage chairs and styled with variations of white runners and blue paisley linens. Amaryllis did a beautiful job on the flowers. Pops of orange tulips, wax flowers and daffodils were displayed on the tables. As the sun set the tent was lit with candlelight and hanging lanterns. The highlight of the evening was sweet apple pie and homemade vanilla ice cream served in miniature skillets with cheese and honey. The perfect start to the spring season!
