Winter Wonderland at the National Gallery of Art

It’s snowing inside the National Gallery of Art! It was a winter wonderland all the way around the Rotunda as snowflakes dripped from the ceiling and dramatic white centerpieces towered above buffet stations. The room was sprinkled with red roses and poinsettias. Another area was adorned with forest trees and candle light on glimmering evergreen linens. Guests enjoyed entertainment by performers on stilts, ballerinas and other fun artistes. Speciality cocktails were passed, including a refreshing cucumber gimlet.
