Historic Love

Allie and Jon danced into their wedding at Oxon Hill Manor with the same charisma that initially attracted them to each other at George Mason University.  The love of dance and music that brought them together as a dance major undergrad and music major graduate was purposely choreographed into their wedding day.

Jon mostly played groom the evening of the reception, though was caught behind the drums joining his band Broadsound for a few show stopping numbers.
Their first dance was nothing less than a professional performance that started off an upbeat evening of fun and dancing.

The menu was a collaboration of their personalities, and kicked off with a bright hearts of palm & citrus salad with passion fruit pearls. A dual entrée of braised short ribs & herb roasted cod, paired with corn pudding , haricot vert, and roasted garlic jus picked up the flavors of summer, and set the stage for a dessert buffet featuring baked Alaska brownie sticks & mini key lime pies, and a rockin’ grooms cake made to look like Jon’s personal turntable.
