History Repeats Itself with Good Food

This Washington D.C. party was styled in true American fashion. The food and decor were inspired by the new Smithsonian exhibit at the National Museum of American History called FOOD: Transforming the American Table, 1950 to 2000. A long rectangular farm table was paired with the Bentwood chair and decorated with warm colored napkins, old fashioned lanterns and vegetables. Corn, squash, zucchini, tomatoes and baby artichokes streamed the center of the table. Guest enjoyed a local farm fresh menu. And the rest is history…
